When I was in Hawaii last week I looked for Marine Life but of course it was sold out everywhere :-P But no matter, I checked the MAC Australia website every day until it was out! Lucky I did too because it was gone by the time I got back to Australia :-S So I got some things in the USA, some things here and here they are:
Here is the coveted Marine Life in all its glory:
So pretty :-) Should have gotten two but they were $55 each!
I also got the beachbound glaze lipstick, splashing and easy lounger lipglass, rosemary and thyme eye kohl (love the design) and the cream nail polish in scorcher.
Splashing is quite pigmented, so much more than easy lounger which is like a pack of glitter.
As for beachbound, I love it. I like glaze lippies, I'm not a big lipstick wearer so the subtleness of a glaze suits me fine. And I really like this colour. Initially I thought it would be too peach but it's not, it's gorgeous. It's nude but with a shimmer. Well suited to warm tones. Lovely.
Finally we have the scorcher nail polish, at 2 coats:
Nice to apply, not streaky and I could have done with just one coat, but went for two.
And if you're interested, I did these day by day Hawaii videos for friends and family back home. Here's day 2 (the shopping day = Sephora woohoo!), you can check out day 1, if you missed it here.

Back from Hawaii! Day 1 video...
Well I'm exhausted! I just had 9 days in beautiful Hawaii. I didn't blog much because the net access wasn't overly reliable, and rather difficult to work with on the iPhone. I spent a bit at MAC. Several trips worth. But this was the major one:
I've got another MAC to the beach haul coming up, just waiting for my order to arrive. Got some things in the USA too because it's so darn cheap :-|
But basically I got a bunch of palettes, eye shadow, blush and quads. As well as MANY eye shadows to go in them. I had been saving the list for Hawaii :-)
Also got the MAC to the beach bag because 1) I can't get it online and 2) I was going snorkeling at Hanauma Bay and I didn't have a beach bag. The place is gorgeous:
What I love about Hawaii is the birdlife. Birds everywhere and there's wild chickens just roaming about! I grew up with chickens so I was stoked when I captured this gorgeous chicken under a park bench at Hanuama Bay:
And I did manage to do 'quick' day by day videos of my time in Hawaii. Let's begin with Hawaii Day 1. My apologies for any failing, I only just figured some settings out towards the end of my stay (sigh). And this was recorded on my iPhone!

China Glaze Poolside: Sun Worshiper, Pool Party
Oh gosh! Again with the lack of posting. My bad :-P But I've got 2 weeks until Hawaii! So I'm just swamped with work, study and getting ready for travel. I did manage to pick up a few new China Glaze pretties (justification: I won't find these easily in Hawaii), two of which are from the poolside collection:
Here we have Sun Worshiper, Pool Party and Techno. Yeah, random glitter polish purchase. To go with my It's Bouquet With Me (meep). However if you think sun worshiper is more yellow, it's not! It's bright orange:
I freaking love them. Gorgeous colours, and I'll probably wear sun worshiper before I jetset off to Honolulu @_@
